Post Malone has just made an outrageously expensive purchase: a card worth a staggering 2 million dollars. Yes, you read that right – 2 million dollars for a single piece of cardboard.

But this isn’t just any cardboard; it’s the rarest of the rare cards from the latest crossover between Magic: The Gathering and the most epic fantasy series of all time, Lord of the Rings!

The card in question features the rarest of the rare, “the one ring,” which adds to its allure and value.

Post Malone Magic Card

Certified with a Mint 9 grade by PSA, the card was previously owned by the enthusiastic Brook Trafton, who couldn’t contain his excitement over the sale to Post Malone, as it can be seen in the Tik Tok. Both Wizards of the Coast, the masterminds behind Magic: The Gathering, and Trafton’s representative have confirmed the Purchase, which has brought immense joy to everyone involved.

The card’s value lies not only in its design but also in its status as a highly coveted collectible among Magic: The Gathering collectors and LOTR fans. It’s no surprise that Post Malone, a prominent figure in the Magic community and an avid collector, couldn’t resist adding this gem to his impressive collection.

Wizards of the Coast expressed their delight in being a part of this momentous transaction. The “Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth” set has proven to be a monumental success, uniting fans of Magic and Tolkien’s literary masterpiece.

Since its release, players have been swept away by the gameplay, bringing their favorite characters and locations from Middle-earth into the game’s strategic battles

And this card isn’t the only one that’s super popular; there are many ring cards in the set, but none come close to the rarity this one holds. Post Malone really snatched a great item here, elevating the trading card scene’s popularity. Collectors involved in this hobby are now seeing even more value in their collections.

Time and again, we’ve witnessed celebrities buying these rare cards; for instance, Logic purchasing the rare Charizard base set or Logan Paul proudly wearing a card to WrestleMania.

The craze around these cards is surging, and if you aren’t already collecting them, this is a clear sign to start! And there’s no better place to shop than the one you’re on right now!
