Zenith Blade from Riftbound TCG

If you’re running Leona in Riftbound, Zenith Blade is one of the spells you’re going to want within arm’s reach every game.

It’s not just a setup card—it’s momentum in a bottle.

At 3 cost, it’s lean enough to curve smoothly into midgame tempo lines, and it fits Leona’s playstyle perfectly: control the field, force movement, and create pressure without brute force.

Gameplay / Cool Mechanics

Zenith Blade lets you stun an enemy unit at a battlefield, then optionally move one of your friendly units to that same battlefield.

That’s a two-for-one swing in tempo, and depending on how your board’s shaping up, it can flip a lane from neutral to dominant with a single cast.

The key? That stun clause. The enemy unit doesn’t deal combat damage that turn, so you’re free to slide a weaker or vulnerable unit into the field and still come out ahead. You’re effectively converting repositioning into safe aggression.

And when played right after Radiant Dawn or with Leona on board, you can chain stuns into buffs and build toward battlefield lockdown.

Smart players will time Zenith Blade to trap key enemy threats, relocate support units to safety, or bait counters from more aggressive opponents.

It’s not flashy, but it feels surgical—and that’s where its value really lives.

Visuals

The art goes full classic solar fantasy: a radiant golden blade, suspended vertically in midair, erupting with heat and divine light.

The explosion of light behind the sword isn’t chaotic—it’s concentrated, like a celestial verdict. The glowing edges and sheer vertical force emphasize clarity over violence.

This isn’t a wild spell—it’s a judgment. That tracks with how the card plays: precise, hard to answer, and purpose-driven.

Pull Rate & Value Speculation

Zenith Blade is card 262/298, clearly a part of Leona’s spell kit and marked as a Signature Spell.

We haven’t seen confirmation of an alt-art or foil yet, but it feels like the kind of card that could drop as a rare foil in promo decks or event bundles.

Given how important battlefield control already looks in Riftbound’s meta, Zenith Blade could easily become a staple—not just for Leona builds, but for any green-yellow list that wants to manipulate board presence without sacrificing tempo.

Expect demand to spike if control/midrange decks dominate the early tournament scene.

Zenith Blade is the kind of spell that rewards high-skill play without demanding a huge investment.

If you like tight positioning and tempo control, this is one of the smartest 3-costs in the game so far.
