Solari Shrine from Riftbound TCG

Solari Shrine is a clean, low-cost gear piece that slots perfectly into stun-heavy midrange or control decks.

It’s not flashy, but in Riftbound’s current pool, it quietly reinforces a gameplan that’s already emerging as one of the most reliable lines of value: stun, kill, and keep drawing.

This isn’t the kind of card you slam down for tempo—it’s the kind you plan around. And that makes it matter.

Gameplay / Cool Mechanics

At 3 cost, Solari Shrine isn’t cheap for gear, but it comes with a simple, repeatable effect: “When you kill a stunned enemy unit, you may exhaust this to draw 1.”

That line alone tells you what kind of deck this belongs in. You need access to reliable stun (Demacia and Targon are the clear suspects so far), and you want to turn your control game into a draw engine once you start locking opponents down.

What makes Solari Shrine interesting is the delayed value. You don’t draw when you stun—you draw when you execute.

That means your sequencing matters. It rewards planning, trading efficiently, and building toward inevitability.

It’s also exhaust-based, not limited by turn count. So if you can ready gear quickly? Or copy this? The ceiling gets interesting.

It’s not busted, but in the right build, it just fuels itself.

Visuals

Solari Shrine gives you a huge, holy visual to match its restrained text box. Twin golden rings hover above an ancient stone monument, catching the sunlight like celestial anchors.

The pillars are carved with symbols, banners hang still in the wind, and armored figures gather in silhouette at the bottom—more like disciples than soldiers.

This art isn’t loud, but it’s reverent. You feel the gravity of the place, and you get that this isn’t just a building—it’s a belief system.

The quote at the bottom drives it home: “The names of the fallen are a lesson for our descendants.”

That mood perfectly syncs with the mechanic. You don’t just kill to kill. You kill to remember. You kill to learn.

Pull Rate & Value Speculation

Solari Shrine is card 072/298, a gear card that likely lands somewhere in the uncommon to rare range.

We haven’t seen confirmation of foil versions or alt art for this one yet, but the illustration seems built for a light foil glow—especially if the rings and sunlight get the shimmer treatment.

From a collector’s standpoint, Solari Shrine probably won’t be a chase card on its own, but if stun-control archetypes become top-tier, it’ll be a staple

Its combo potential with gear-readiers also gives it room to spike later.
