Incinerate is one of the cleanest red spells in Riftbound for early interaction.

At just two mana, it gives you fast, no-frills damage on demand.

If you are playing a burn deck or any red-based control shell, this is one of the low-cost tools that keeps your early game sharp and lets you trade up without wasting key spells.

Gameplay / Cool Mechanics

Two mana. Deal two to a unit at a battlefield. It is fast, flexible, and carries the Action tag, so you can play it on your turn or during showdowns. That timing matters.

You can pick off a threat mid-combat or finish something before it gets to activate.

Incinerate fits right into aggressive lists that want to clear blockers and push board presence, but it also belongs in control builds that want to chip down key units early.

It becomes even nastier when paired with Annie. That one bonus damage turns Incinerate into a three-point hit, which is enough to delete midrange units or shift the math on early threats.

It also feeds into burn recursion, spell payoff cards, and tempo strategies that lean on cheap spells with real value.

This is not a flashy finisher. It is a sharpened knife. It is the card that gets you through round two when you do not want to waste your heavy fire.
