Firestorm from Riftbound TCG

Firestorm
Spread the love

Firestorm is Riftbound TCG’s cleanest board wipe for red. At six mana, this Noxus spell delivers a straight answer to wide boards with no conditions, no setup, and no mercy.

If your meta is swarming with cheap units or tempo decks that flood early, Firestorm is the button you press to flip the game.

Gameplay / Cool Mechanics

There is no trick to this card. No random, no split damage, no targets. Firestorm just deals three to every enemy unit at one battlefield.

That alone makes it one of the most reliable clears in the red spell pool.

Three is the magic number here. It kills low-cost aggro boards outright and leaves even bulkier midrange threats within reach of follow-ups.

The best part is the lack of cost on your side of the board. You don’t sacrifice tempo. You don’t hurt your own units. You simply choose a battlefield and erase whatever is in front of you.

It works best when you are slightly behind or need to reset a lane that spiraled. Pair it with cheap follow-up spells or passive burn from cards like Annie to clean up anything that survives.

The spell sits at six mana which means it won’t be part of every fast deck, but in slower red builds or control shells that can float to midgame, this card is the payoff.

It also shines in decks that want to lean hard into spell synergy, clearing boards while feeding other effects.

Visuals

Firestorm does not show an explosion. It shows the second after.

Annie stands alone in a burning forest, head turned like she is listening for the last branch to fall.

The flames pour around her, but she does not flinch. The entire frame is drenched in gold and smoke. No motion. Just aftermath.

Pull Rate and Value Speculation

Set Number: OGS 002 of 024
Rarity: Unconfirmed but likely Rare or Uncommon
Foil Status: Unknown
Alternate Art: None shown
Overnumbered: Not announced

Firestorm is not a flashy spell, but it is reliable. If aggressive metas or token-heavy decks rise up in early competitive play, this card becomes essential.

Foil versions will pick up value if the spell becomes a staple answer in Noxus control lists or multi-color burn hybrids.

It is also a clean include in any Annie build since it gets pushed over the edge with her passive.

Firestorm from Riftbound TCG is not subtle and not fancy. It is a spell that tells the opponent to back up and start over.

If your deck wants to reset the board while keeping pressure in hand, this is exactly the tool for it.
