When fans heard that their favorite kaiju was coming in card format, they were over the moon. The hype surrounding these cards was immense, and the set did not disappoint. It boasts phenomenal cards with original artwork that leaves any Godzilla fan drooling. One such card is the Mechagodzilla, Bionic Menace, which carries a hefty price tag.

Origins

Mechagodzilla first appeared in the 1974 film “Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla.” This robotic doppelgänger was created to defeat Godzilla and has since appeared in various films and series. In recent movies, Mechagodzilla is portrayed as a high-tech, weaponized titan designed to combat kaiju threats.

The Mechagodzilla, Bionic Menace card boasts a very unique art style. Combined with the ferocity of the mech beast, it’s a recipe for awesomeness. The card looks  metal to say the least!

The illustration does justice to the card’s name; the mech looks every bit the menace it’s meant to be.

Value

As of writing this blog post, the Mechagodzilla, Bionic Menace card is going for around $20.

Considering how many great cards this set boasts, this is quite significant. Not to mention, the alt art version of this very same card is priced even higher.
