Of all the cards revealed during Preview Season so far, Ahri is my personal favorite illustration in the Riftbound TCG.

There’s just something hypnotic about it—the glow, the softness, the motion.

Even in a game where art constantly pushes boundaries, Ahri stuns with elegance that hits like a whisper before a storm.

Gameplay / Cool Mechanics

Let’s not sleep on how effective Ahri is either. She drops at 3 cost for a solid 3 Power / 3 Health, making her a flexible mid-game pressure tool.

But what really makes her click is her ability: “When I attack or defend, give an enemy unit here -2 Power this turn, to a minimum of 1.”

This kind of tempo drain can swing lanes hard. It doesn’t kill, it doesn’t disable—but it neutralizes.

In matchups where controlling tempo or forcing trades is key, Ahri quietly rewrites combat math turn after turn.

She’s not the centerpiece of a deck, but she’s the perfect support piece in an aggressive Ionia or control hybrid list.
