Gameplay / Cool Mechanics
Every time you ready a friendly unit while Pirate’s Haven is on board, you give that unit +1 power for the turn. That’s it. That’s the whole effect.
But if you’ve played even one round of Riftbound, you know how massive that can be.
Ready effects are already potent—dodging attacks, surprise blockers, surprise attackers. Pirate’s Haven turns that tempo into extra threat.
This means cards that ready your units—either as spells, unit effects, or battlefields—now come with a mini buff stapled to them. It also makes otherwise passive turns more aggressive.
