<p data-start="72" data-end="493"><em data-start="72" data-end="90">Lecturing Yordle</em> is one of those deceptively simple cards that’s going to end up doing way more than people expect.</p>
<p data-start="72" data-end="493">Sitting at a <strong data-start="203" data-end="213">3-cost</strong>, this <strong data-start="220" data-end="235">Bandle City</strong> unit doesn’t scream power, but don’t let the modest stats fool you—this card is quietly loaded with value.</p>
<p data-start="72" data-end="493">It’s a perfect midrange plug-in: not aggressive, not control-heavy, but just annoying and sticky enough to matter every single time it hits the board.</p>
<p data-start="495" data-end="686">As Riftbound reveals more synergy-based archetypes, value bodies with card draw are already shaping up as the backbone of certain engines—and</p>
<p data-start="495" data-end="686"><em data-start="637" data-end="655">Lecturing Yordle</em> is right in that conversation.</p>
<hr class="custom-cursor-default-hover" data-start="688" data-end="691" />
<h2 data-start="693" data-end="722">Gameplay / Cool Mechanics</h2>
<p data-start="724" data-end="1107">Let’s get the numbers out of the way: <em data-start="762" data-end="780">Lecturing Yordle</em> is a <strong data-start="786" data-end="800">3-cost 3|2</strong> with <strong data-start="806" data-end="814">Tank</strong> and a <strong data-start="821" data-end="831">draw 1</strong> on play.</p>
<p data-start="724" data-end="1107">That alone makes it playable. Any unit that replaces itself in hand is immediately worth considering.</p>
<p data-start="724" data-end="1107">But tack on <strong data-start="955" data-end="963">Tank</strong>—which forces your opponent to assign combat damage to it first—and suddenly this card becomes a speed bump that also keeps your momentum going.</p>
<p data-start="1109" data-end="1436">What really makes this work is timing. Play this into a turn where your opponent has to swing wide, and you’re soaking key hits while also digging deeper into your deck.</p>
<p data-start="1109" data-end="1436">It might not be lethal pressure, but it’s friction. It’s tempo. And in Bandle decks that like to cycle or swarm, <em data-start="1392" data-end="1410">Lecturing Yordle</em> keeps the wheels turning.</p>
<p data-start="1438" data-end="1489">Also: it’s a Yordle. Don’t sleep on tribal synergy.</p>
<hr data-start="1491" data-end="1494" />
<h2 data-start="1496" data-end="1507">Visuals</h2>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-14715" src="https://blog.awesomedealsdeluxe.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Screenshot-2025-07-02-155800.png" alt="" width="389" height="556" srcset="https://blog.awesomedealsdeluxe.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Screenshot-2025-07-02-155800.png 389w, https://blog.awesomedealsdeluxe.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Screenshot-2025-07-02-155800-210x300.png 210w, https://blog.awesomedealsdeluxe.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Screenshot-2025-07-02-155800-20x29.png 20w" sizes="(max-width: 389px) 100vw, 389px" /></p>
<p data-start="1509" data-end="1827">The artwork nails the tone. This isn’t some heroic charge or dramatic battle—this is a backyard TED Talk with mushrooms and fruit platters.</p>
<p data-start="1509" data-end="1827">The elder Yordle is mid-rant, gesturing with a kind of smug academic authority, while the poor Teemo-type in the background stares in semi-horror at whatever he’s just been told.</p>
<p data-start="1829" data-end="2049">There’s warmth in the palette—golden hour light, leafy greens—but the vibe is almost passive-aggressive.</p>
<p data-start="1829" data-end="2049">This is storytelling as weaponry. The art says everything the mechanics don’t: I’m small, but you’re stuck with me.</p>
<hr class="custom-cursor-default-hover" data-start="2051" data-end="2054" />
<h2 data-start="2056" data-end="2089">Pull Rate &amp; Value Speculation</h2>
<p data-start="2091" data-end="2474"><em data-start="2091" data-end="2109">Lecturing Yordle</em> is card <strong data-start="2118" data-end="2129">087/298</strong> in Riftbound TCG’s base set. No official rarity yet, but early predictions put this as <strong data-start="2217" data-end="2229">Uncommon</strong>—common enough to show up in multiple boxes, but just rare enough to matter in draft pools.</p>
<p data-start="2091" data-end="2474">No alternate art or foil sightings as of July 2, but this is the type of card that could easily get a charming showcase variant in a future product drop.</p>
<p data-start="2476" data-end="2691">If Bandle City becomes a Tier 2 value/control engine (and it&#8217;s looking like it might), expect <em data-start="2570" data-end="2588">Lecturing Yordle</em> to sneak its way into multiple decks.</p>
<p data-start="2476" data-end="2691">It’s not flashy—but it’s the kind of card that always trades up.</p>
<p data-start="2476" data-end="2691"><em data-start="2724" data-end="2742">Lecturing Yordle</em> is low-key everything I want in a utility card: annoying to deal with, just enough value to justify the slot, and illustrated like a storybook roast.</p>
<p data-start="2476" data-end="2691">I’m calling it now—this card’s going to be quietly meta-relevant for longer than anyone expects.</p>
